{"id":8717,"date":"2024-08-06T20:28:40","date_gmt":"2024-08-06T19:28:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/purplemeanie.co.uk\/?p=8717"},"modified":"2024-08-06T20:29:43","modified_gmt":"2024-08-06T19:29:43","slug":"day-2-northants-to-ypres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/purplemeanie.co.uk\/index.php\/2024\/08\/06\/day-2-northants-to-ypres\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 2 &#8211; Northants to Ypres"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Today has been a travel day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We set off from Northamptonshire at about 10, Chunnel at 15:30 and set up camp by 18:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pretty uneventful day, drizzling until we got past the bottom of the M11 but beautiful now here in Belgium as we sit with a beverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thurrock services were the hole that I remembered, having taken the van for its first outing and sleeping at the services prior to a Caterham event a year ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the Chunnel was as random as it always seems to be\u2026 booked on 14:45 train, bumped to 14:18 when we arrived but finally left at 15:45! Random!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s some of todays\u2019s photos!
